Restaurant Week 2025 Notes

We're so excited you'll be joining us for Summer Restaurant Week 2025!  As this is an incredibly popular event, we ask you to please note a few additional updates to help make your experience here as amazing as possible:

Please kindly let our staff know should anyone in your party have any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or aversions.  The best way to get a hold of us is at 202.763.7942 and speak with our Guest Relations Department.

While we pride ourselves on being able to accommodate most guest requests we do have a few limitations, so it's always best to speak with a member of Management to ensure a fantastic, stress-free experience. Due to the volume and popularity of Restaurant week we do require guests be no more than 15 minutes late for their reservation.  We unfortunately cannot seat any guests who arrive beyond that window, nor will we offer any refund for the deposit. However, if our reservations allow, we can attempt to rebook your reservation for a later date during Restaurant week. Please plan accordingly and always feel free to phone our Guest Relations Department if you have any questions or concerns.

To make ensure you enjoy the full experience of what we offer at Gravitas we will not be able to seat your party until all guests have arrived at the restaurant. In addition, all guests at each table will be served together to create a seamless dining experience. 

If you have any young, distinguished diners joining us, please make sure to include them in your overall guest count so we can appropriately set your table. If you require any highchairs, please note that in your reservation as well.

During Restaurant Week all checks will have a 22% gratuity added on the bill

Reservations and Large Parties

We are currently offering reservations for indoor and heated outdoor dining to enjoy our Chef's Tasting Menu.

We accept reservations for up to 12 guests during our hours of operation. For parties over 12, please click here for more information.

Attire is smart casual. We request that vegans, or guests with allergies or dietary restrictions, notify us a minimum of 48-hours in advance of your reservation.

Chef's Counter

Settle into the Chef's Counter at Gravitas. An exclusive dining experience permits you and a guest an up-close-and-personal look at our kitchen in action.

This elevated event allows diners to feel the energy of the kitchen while exploring Chef Matt Baker's inspired, seasonal, and continuously evolving menu offerings. The tasting menu at the Chef's Counter is a unique and atypical experience and is not offered to other diners during your visit. 

The Chef's Counter is a highly interactive 15-course tasting experience, presented by the Gravitas Chef team. This experience is limited to two guests due to space. Please email info@gravitasdc about securing a Chef Counter experience in our main dining room for 3 or more guests!

Private Dining

For reservations with 13 or more guests, we request that the guest submit a request to the events manager via the fillable form below. 

All sales are final and non-refundable. You can always reschedule for a different date or transfer your reservation to another person, as long as you have called within 48 hours of reservation.
