We accept reservations for up to six guests between 5:30pm and 9:30pm Tuesday through Thursday; between 5:30pm and 10:00pm Friday and Saturday; and between 5:30pm and 9:00pm on Sunday. We are closed on Mondays.

Kindly note we are a tasting menu restaurant and do not offer a la carte dining in our main dining room. We do allow for a la carte dining at our bar and patio on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for our dining room can be made through Resy.com up to five weeks in advance. For more information please email reservations@gravitasdc.com.

We also offer a three-course, $56 Pre-Theater menu Tuesday-Friday for reservations made before 7:00pm.

Attire is smart casual. We request that vegans, or those with allergies or dietary restrictions, notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

Chef's Counter

Settle into the Chef's Counter at Gravitas. An exclusive dining experience permits you and a guest an up-close-and-personal look at our chefs in action.

This elevated experience allows diners to feel the energy of the kitchen, while exploring Chef Matt Baker's inspired, seasonal and continuously evolving menu offerings. The tasting menu at the Chef's Counter is a unique and atypical experience and not offered to other diners during your visit. 

For our chef's counter, we accept one reservation for a party of two at 7:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, two reservations on Thursday through Saturday at 5:30pm and 8:30pm, and one reservation on Sunday at 6:30pm. At fifteen courses, the duration of the tasting menu is approximately two and a half hours. Tickets are required and are priced at $180 per person, exclusive of beverages, taxes, and fees. In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your chef's counter reservation, we kindly request 72 hours advanced notice in order to receive a full refund.
